Chevrolet hoping to Captiva-te female buyers during motor show

By The Nation

Chevrolet is offering a special promotion for female customers interested in the Captiva SUV.

Women who place orders for the Captiva at the current “Bangkok International Motor Show”, or at any Chevrolet showroom during the show period, will receive a skincare gift voucher from Clinique worth Bt3,450.

The show runs until April 9 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.

The auto-maker recently introduced a new pearl-white body option for the Captiva in Thailand, answering to the high popularity of this colour in Southeast Asia.

It also hopes that the new white colour will help attract more female customers.

According to Chevrolet, as much as 50 per cent of buyers in the midsized SUV segment are women.

Well, as long as these female buyers are using their own money, I would not mind "captivating" a few of them myself.

Perhaps that's all it takes to lasso a Chevy female buyer, a bag full of plaster....

Who dreams up these promotions?

60 quid off a £25k odd car?

3500 Baht's worth of free beauty products/treatment on a mil plus car?
