It’s a bit early for aftermarket manufacturers to come up with something that really works for the Yamaha NMax 125/155 as with a modern fuel injection and variable valves it’s not anymore about easier exhaust flow….

So remember if you find something that is ‘made’ for the NMax 155 you should not expect much difference in performance... probably the only significant thing you notice is that the scoot is using more fuel…

I'm sure there are plenty of after market shops that will sell you a generic soda can muffler/silencer.

Quite likely they will be of the slip on variety that are held on by a couple of spring type hooks.  This means a new header pipe or welding on a few d's for the springs.

However as said previously....it may not improve performance.  Fuel mapping etc comes into play amongst other things.

The bike may sound better but fuel economy may suffer.

I'd be inclined to look at some Japan sites and see what's new over there in regards to this topic.

Other than making your scooter sound louder, reducing your gas milage and probably voiding the Manafactures warrenty what's the point???  If your purpose is simply to draw attention for ego gratification you are pretty pathetic.

Thank you for clarifying that.

+ if the "muffler" doesn't have a T.I.S stamp its illegal...cops can cause trouble and DLT may not allow green book changes untill bike is returned to standard.
