Why is the Pizza Company not "real pizza"?
I'm really lucky that I don't have to search for a good pizza. Of course, many can say now - nah - too much - too small - too thick etc.pp. Making pizza yourself is not rocket science. Of course you need the oven (gas, electric or even wood fired). But if you calculate once how much you spend on Restaurant pizzas - the oven is soon amortized. -

Report Cambodia Apologises for SEA Games Logo Mix-Up
Photo via Wikipedia Cambodia recently issued an apology after mistakenly using the wrong logo for the 2025 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, hosted by Thailand this year. A buffalo-themed emblem was displayed instead of the official design created by Thailand, sparking online confusion. Scheduled from December 9 to 20, the 33rd SEA Games will take place across Bangkok, Chon Buri, and Songkhla. The ASEAN Para Games will follow from January 20 to 26 next year. The official logo, crafted by Teeraphop Wangsinlapakhun, founder of TNOP Design, is themed "Play by the Rules" and symbolises traditional Thai architecture through overlapping curves in blue, light blue, red, and gold. The controversy erupted when Thai netizens noticed Cambodia’s SEA Games website featured a buffalo-themed logo, rather than the earlier Siamese fighting fish design by Rueangwit Phutharaporn. Some speculated that the Cambodian Olympic Committee was stirring tensions between the nations. In response, Thana Chaiprasit, Secretary of the Olympic Committee of Thailand, emphasised the games' focus on sport over politics. Thana revealed that a Cambodian representative clarified the mistake stemmed from copying a logo from a satirical online source. An apology was extended, with assurances the incorrect emblem would be swiftly removed. However, the Cambodian site has remained offline since the debacle. Despite the apology, scepticism persists among Thai netizens who suspect the error was too intentional to be accidental. This logo dispute has also revived tensions over similar-looking airline mascots between Thai Airways and Cambodia Airways, further fuelling the online debate. UK Fears grow over migrant protests: Warnings of unrest as tensions rise in UK communities
There is a Press briefing now from Essex Police expaining how they policed the incident at The Bell hotel. they must answer why did you transport Antifa and Anti- Racism right wings groups to a demonstration where parents and children were at the Demonstration, are we witnessing two tier policing in favour of right wing thugs ahead of law abiding protesters. The Police will likely it was for safety reasons but they helped to inflame tensions by bussing them in. -

Report Thailand Bets on Medical Tourism to Revive Economy
I compared my US insurer as the price is super high IMHO with CIGNA local - their prices here are even higher than my US insurer but the CIGNA while being worldwide EXCEPT for US, while my US insurer covers worldwide treatment and is still cheaper for me only so you can only imagine what the CIGNA family costs ! Don't get old I guess is the only answer as to avoid the costs of either treatment alone or through insurance. I thought that being health concious, no booze, no smoking legal or illegal, eating a great diet, exercising regular - no claims ever on my health insurer as never ill, so end up paying top prices to pay for all those folks getting fat, wasted, etc. Doesn't seem to reward folks that do take care of themselves - what a racket these companies have. I can see the hand writing on the wall - pretty soon the US govt will drop their share of their sponsored health insurance companies too and pass it on to the workers - so that the rich can get richer and just drive everyone else except for the rich into the poorhoutse. At least here, treatment is at least adequate and cheap in comparison. For most treatment I have in the past just paid for whatever here but now I definitely pass it on to the insurance company. If trends continue, I may opt to a savings account for health issues and at what I pay now for coverage, it would grow quite quickly to be adequate. iMHO anyway.
