So glad you find humour in yet another series of moronic, all too human, actions leading to the death of another living creature.

But hey animals don't matter do they.

they do of course but it can't be changed. We weren't there so we can't say what was the best course of action was for the pilot or why he had to do what he did, fact is the helicopter with its crew didn't crash but Pooh bear didn't make it to the hundred acre wood, the only one with real cause to be upset is Christopher Robin and perhaps piglet.

No.

There is every reason to be upset at the morons who are supposed to care for the wildlife under there protection.

They are inept, incompetent idiots who deserve to be castigated and removed from their posts so that terrible incidents such as this never happen again.

To find humour in this is just plain wrong.

Exactly, which is why we say, "The straw that broke the camels back". One tiny thing added to a mountain of injustice can break the community. Is the plaque the straw though? I don't think so, but I think Prayuth has used up his last "Delay Elections" card. No elections next year might well be that straw:mellow:

After further investigation, it is clear no one was at fault, the bear just committed suicide..

It could not find a balcony so it just used the helicopter that was just passing by..

Maybe the net needed a taller balcony railing

Does this mean all other options like speeding up and flashing headlights were used up? :coffee1:

A helicopter  can stop, hover , fly   backwards. So  why was  there  any  commitment to  fly up and over the  cliff ?

Because it's called . A Bad pilot. What a load of <deleted>, the bear was too heavy There are enough buzzers and bells that would warn him imidiatley he took off. He miss judged the altitude and panicked hence A Bad pilot.

As opposed to the original story in which the bear, loosely covered by a net awoke early from its drug induced slumber and panicked thus falling out of the chopper.... or was that a different bear?

NO thats the one they are trying to cover up---------- trouble is there is always one who has a long memory and comes and stuffs it all up

One could be forgiven for assuming that the bear was supposed to be relocated alive and well.

I wonder if this how the boys in brown are relocated. And that is why they are never heard from again.

For similar reasons that most drivers here don't brake when they encounter a problem.

He also said the helicopter was flying the bear to release into the nature in Khao Yai national park.

Well, they managed that alright. Obviously thoughts of what was practical didn't enter to the equation.

Same bear, just a different story teller, normal for a story telling competition. The rules being, after given the closing line, the competitors then had to come up with a feasible yarn to win .

Seems to be getting more input than if it was one of the park staff - that would be "staff mysteriously falls from helicopter" case now closed.
