I'm looking for an experienced Range Rover mechanic in or near Khon Kaen  ??

thx kwasaki... there is ,in fact, one thai guy in KK but he doesn't speak or understand any english, so it's difficult to try and explain niggling little problems to him. BKK is to far to go for minor fixes.. there is another guy also , in Korat.

The biggest problem I have here is getting parts. No one but the dealer has any sort of computer system to  look up a part for me. i always have to pull whatever I need and take it to them, even then they dont seem like they like to sell parts to individuals, they always give me the why dont you pay some one to fix it. I would def. find a source of parts before I got too excited about finding a good mechanic.

Sell it and buy a locally manufacturer vehicle and your problems will be solved as far as parts and service are involved, excluding Ford of course

Only place to own a Range Rover is South Africa where they are a lot more popular and a lot cheaper as well, just a whole in the pocket in Thailand like a lot of fully imported vehicles, have a breakdown in a out of the way place and no one will be able to repair it
