Mae Sai Beer Laos 500ml Cans ?

Featured Replies

OK, so I just read that you can buy fresh 40 Baht 500ml Beer Laos cans brought in from Laos on the Burma Friendship bridge on visa-runs.

Is it also possible to buy Beer Laos cans without leaving Thailand just near the bridge ???

Yes, I know the likes of Macro stock bottles of 330ml 6-month or so old Beer Laos...but I'd like to grab a stack of less than a month old cans of the stuff...at Laos prices !

I think they might sell them in the duty free shop directly across the road from the passport office - some nice german beers too !

Sorry, as of Wednesday (April 19, no Lao Beer available there.  Great bargains on some unusually-named German beers though.......
