I believe he will be prosecuted only if he agrees to attend voluntarily, which seems unlikely. I fear the Arrest Warrant will never be served and he will continue to have a great time gallivanting around the world. Only poor people seem to go to prison in Thailand.

There's a higher probability of it snowing in Thailand than this coward seeing a day behind bars.

He will never be "arrested"; that's only for poor people, and red-shirts.

He might reach some sort of "agreement" ( a sort of plea deal) on very minor charges, and maybe fund a foundation to address improved road skills?

Or he'll create a video game where you navigate the streets of Bangkok, in a flashy car of your choosing, while trying to "score" points by running over as many commoners as possible. Death Race 2000 meets GTA.

It depends on the amount of groveling , I suspect he will eventually have to attend court, public opinion will finally dictate this, however there will be mitigating circumstances and a tap on the hand punishment.............................................................................:coffee1:.

A combination of the above is possible - i.e. 2 years suspended.

But only if he and his family tire of the bad publicity and decide that it makes more sense to to agree in advance a 'tap on the wrist' sentence, rather than hoping that the bad publicity eventually dies away.

10 years statue of limitations on the charges. Come on, the Judges and the prosecutors will be milking this for as long as they can. Any arrest warrants issued are just a show for the public.

That game is called Carmageddon, 20 years old by now though ;)

Using local logic I voted yes. This young man will be arrested and then immediately granted bail. Win win for both sides. Case closed.

Fully agree.

I also voted Yes...

Same line of thinking....arrested but just to be released on bail again immediately...

Not a chance in hell he will be prosecuted.

His family will never let it happen and there is nothing the justice system here is prepared to do about it.

Laughable to think otherwise.

In fact a bit surprising someone / some organization hasn't taken advantage of the situation to put serious mud / serious negative on the brand name for both their products and the racing team. For both scenarios clever folks could do some serious damage to their revenues.

Wonder what the European partner thinks about this angle?

Talk is cheap in this neck of the woods actions speak louder than words and money deliver results and that's where it will end as it always does on this part of planet lies. Something will show up very soon and this will be forgotten for another 5 years.

Investors I hope you take notice of the trust value here 60 million locals cannot

They will never arrest him because they don't want to arrest him.

He spends plenty of time in Thailand so the authorities know when he is in the country.

It serves the police no favours to arrest him because they will then have to answer plenty of questions about their own conduct in this matter.

The gov't will continue to spin the wheels and he and his lawyers will know well in advance of anything going on legally so that he can avoid it.

It's a huge game and it's set up so that the rich don't usually have to play unless they wish to.

I would like to see him arrested as well as those that didn't take him into custody in the first place when they had the chance.

After some prison time nick name 'Boss' to be changed in 'crying weasle' (with stretched buttocks).

Wow- just over 20 posts before prison rape was mentioned- must be a record.
