If you never saw it and it never happened to you, then it must not exist. I also don't understand the fuss about road deaths in Thailand, I never had an accident here nor seen anyone die, so I su

What I have learned from this threat is dogs attack people who are not cool.

When you don't get on with the locals then its time to go home.

Dogs gave me no problems during the daytime, but were really annoying at night. One night, I was even trapped in the middle of an alley in Bangkok with 3 dogs on one end and 4 on the other end.

It was very annoying and embarrassing because they kept barking. The neighbors must have been wondering what the hell was going on. This is not a good look for the country when tourists need to deal with this kind of crap.

The good thing is that it motivated me to download the GRAB app so that I can summon a vehicle to get me the hell out of there (the download took forever though). I was as still as possible so as to not attract any attention, or to pose a threat, but this also meant the mosquitoes were eating me up.

I eventually managed to see a truck coming down the alley and then I just ran behind it into a wider open space. Even then, when I was waiting for the GRAB vehicle to show up, another dog came into my presence growling. I didn't look in his direction, but I was about to run the other way. Suddenly, a security guard came and threatened it with a slingshot. I don't want to do them any harm, but if it's them against me, then I hope that they all die. This all just happened within the last 5 days.
