Mild earthquake rattles Chiang Mai district

CHIANG MAI: -- No damage was reported after a 1.8-magnitude earthquake was recorded in Chiang Mai’s Phrao district at 3.45am on Monday.

 

Adisorn Fungkhachon, director of the Meteorological Department’s Seismology Bureau, said the quake’s epicentre was five kilometres underground at latitude 19.44 degrees north and longitude 99.19 degrees east.
