Adverts Popping Up.

Featured Replies

Just to let whoever is responsible know that I am not putting up with adverts popping out in front of my face when I am on Thaivisa.

I do not mind the ads staying at the side of my screen, it happened twice just now, the next time it happens I am turning on the AB Blocker, and if I am stopped from signing on,

then so be it.

Yes they can and you are powerless to do anything about it, it has happened to me and another poster I know very well.

You try to sign on and some notice tells you that your Ab Blocker must be turned of, I turned it off and then I was allowed to sign on.

I'm sure someone on Thaivisa can confirm this.

Hi,

We ask that you do not run so called item, however if you do run it you see our house banner adverts. If an ad jumps out at you, it shouldn't please send me a screenshot.

@possum1931,  ThaiVisa Forum isn't currently running 'pop up' ads.

While it's possible one of the Google or Taboola ad vendors is slipping in 'pop up' code in violation of their contract agreement, it's more likely you have unwanted adware on your computer inserting them, or something changed your DNS Server settings to intercept and redirect select browser requests to serve different ads.

As Tech Doctor requests, send him a screenshot. Also let them know what page you looking at.
