Need a real GPS

Featured Replies

I need to do a visa run to Laos. The only place they still do Non O multiple entries. I leave on the 25th and will drive there.

I would be willing to leave a deposit. My aging Asus zenfone 2 is not doing real well so gps apps do not work well anymore.

PM me if you can. Much appreciated.

Where do you live?
I'm in Rawai and have a Garmin 60CSX here that you could borrow.
It has Thai mapping in it from about 7 years ago I think.

Should be fine for what you need.

Although it won't have Laos roads in it.

I have some important tracks in there from some hiking I've done here on Phuket, so, would need it back.

Problem may be that I'm leaving on the 30th and won't be back for 2 months (going hiking in Europe).
Don't need it as I bought an Etrex 20 now as it's much lighter and smaller.
If you live in Rawai, you could return it to my wife or son possibly.

Hi Fiddle. Thanks. Trying to decide on what the heck to do. Will contact you again shortly.

Just did Savanna, have done it there the last 3 times, so easy and quick, Vivanouk guest house is THE best place to stay (IMO).

Not exacty....with proper planing you will save maybe 10k with Savannah trip but what is Savannah compared with Seoul.

We have a Garmin 3592 Lm  which i may be willing to lend to you as long as you leave a suitable deposit, it cost me 13500 baht new, plugs into car power outlet with suction cup for windscreen, and has Thai maps
