August 22, 20178 yr Can someone recommend the cheapest place to buy good bath towels Hua Hin/Pranburi area? I am from the USA and I'm stunned at the price they get for them at Lotus/Tesco (.250-350B) ThanksLocal markets best place for cheaper house stuff.Maybe someone else or some locals can point you in right direction.I got some for half that price or cheaper at market near water tower/bill spot. As you go to rail station from Hilton, crossing past Police Station. Once cross road, on left side near street where you would make a right for night market. But this market was only open certain days of the week, so need a local/someone here to advise you on latest schedule.Chok dee
August 23, 20178 yr I'm sure there are cheap ones but you have to buy a reasonable product, not a paper thin piece of rubbish that won't last a few washes. I've not looked recently but twice in a couple of years I have bought them from Homepro as with their own brand, HLS, they have had buy one get one free so effectively half price for a decent towel. Edit : good quality bedsheets on the other hand are very expensive here.
August 25, 20178 yr A few months ago, we bought 100% cotton, x-large plush towels at Thai Watsadu.... around 350 baht each.
August 27, 20178 yr They have a reasonable selection of quite thick reasonable towels of various sizes at HomePro in Market Village, I bought a bunch of them a few years back and they're still going strong. From memory they're near the curtain section. You need a fabric softener or they come out hard - this is due to the water quality being bad, I think.
August 27, 20178 yr I would personnally choose the major department stores in Bangkok for such shopping....cheaper and larger choice...
