Hi,

There's one for sale, by the looks of the photo's it's in excellent condition. One of my concerns is the availabilty of parts. The miles are around 18,000km. Before I take a look I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about this model.

Thanks - Orangutan

Orangtan,

The FSX150 is a nice bike.I had a friend here with one and it was a good, all round bike for Bangkok. Its engine and running gear is almost the same as the NSR150 range and parts arent a problem. Its alot more comfortable than the NSR too because it has a softer seat and a more upright riding position.

If the price is right,Id say go for it!!

+its a 2 stroke:)

i ' ve got one , and very happy with it ,

it is reliable and pretty fast if you wont but also perfect for city

fuel consumption about doubles if you go racing the red zone , compared with touring

i drive from chiang rai to chiang mai trough the mountains and then you need to shift a lot because lack of power in lower revs

only for this reason i would go for the newer CBR 4-stroke : a little bit slower in top but all round better power

and don ' t pay to much for the 2-stroke (FSX or NSR ) : they are very impopular at the moment with the high petrol prices

maximum 25 k if from dealer

oh and just put in a new piston ( original honda = 1600 bath ) and you are safe for the next 20.000 km

all parts are very cheap , tyres , chain ,sprocket , brake pads ...
