No problem with your assessments guys. Actually Ilushin , as someone who has spent some time in the 'Irish" section of the north Bronx I can testify that drinking that <deleted> for 12 hours at a a stretch was a real problem for me even in my prime. And Vespa I am told that Budweiser was and is and excellent Czech beer but the Yankees have taken the brand and pissed in the product.

rcm
All English and German beers.Singha Beer. :D Hmmm Monochaser is missing for discussing this topic..... One of the worst local beers must be Cheers. Budweiser is probably the worst beer that i remember by name(but there are plenty other competitors in the US who deserve an award for being as bad as Budweiser). all the others bad Beers that come to my mind i forgot by name , but i do recall some of the countries they came from , Turkey, China & Egypt

libya 115
The worst tasting beer in the whole world is: Kronenbourg 1664 Even just a whiff of the stuff makes me want to vomit. The closest description I can offer, is it tastes like 'stale Parisian syphilitic whores urine.' I hope this helps.

pumpuiman
I had a beer in Algeria that was served in different colored bottles with no labels....and tasted like formaldehyde. It gave you a terrible headache, but it was the only beer in port...so down it went. I later discovered some of the most delicious wine there (thank God) called "mont de lion"......superb. pumpuiman
And Vespa I am told that Budweiser was and is and excellent Czech beer but the Yankees have taken the brand and pissed in the product. True, I've had Czech bud at the factory in the Czech Republic.....it's called "Budvar". It's the original, and is available in the states now. US Budweiser actually tried to sue the Czech company for control of the Budweiser name, and lost. They pay the Czech's I believe.....but the Czechs cannot use the name outside of Czech...hence the name "Budvar"
dogblower
Singha, followed closely by Singha Gold. Also Bintang and all American beers that I've tried so far, with the exception of Samuel Adams. Quick edit here: I forgot to single out Lone Star as being the worst American "beer" of all those I sampled. A truly foul and piss weak brew. farangsay
Actually , anybody remember "Phuket Island Lager Beer". Pale gold soda water with attitude. Just one sip and I had to have a Carlsberg to take the taste away.

"beer" with no alcohol content DO NOT COUNT. That's just a problem Muslims will have to deal with. I nominate Egyptian "Stella" (no connection with Artois) This is very easy. It's a tie! Basically any beer on offer in any cooler at a Thailand 7/11, Family Mart, Foodland, Carre Four, Tops, Mom and Pop store throughout the kingdom. These brands include Tiger, Heineken, Sing, Chang, Leo, San Miguel, Asahi, Cheers, Thai, and whatever I forgot. There are no beers from any other countries worse than these that I've ever tasted. As a lover of beer, I am appalled by the beer situation in this great country. It is far and away the worst in the world, bar none! It does not take a rocket scientist to taste any of these beers and recognize that they are all shit. It's like they all come from the same sewer vat Edited December 30, 2006 by columbo

Old Croc
Two beers I tried many years ago in South Africa: Rogue - it had a picture of a bull elephant on the label and was known everywhere as "elephant piss" Very nasty but very cheap. The other one I tried was "Bantu Beer" (not very PC these days). It came in a milk type carton, looked and tasted like sour milk someone had pissed in! One sip was all I could manage. terryp
Elephant beer Kenya…looked like there were slugs in the bottles???? Is Leo still available with Red or the Green label, Green used to be Super Leo I think…Always preferred Green Over the Red label. Has anyone else noticed bad day after with Heineken, I really think they have started putting some different chemicals into the brew as I’ve never had hangovers with Heineken…until about 4-5 months ago?
