Ducati - Hypermotard 939 - Korat. Comments

Featured Replies

I am considering buying a new Ducati Hypermotard 939 from Ducati - Nakhon Rathchasima.

Have some questions that could be answered by any members that have had direct experience with Ducati in  Korat, advice first hand is the best available.

How is their after sales service?

Any direct experience with obtaining spare parts there?

Any direct experience with any warranty issues with them?

I am assuming (always a dangerous pastime) that the serving is carried out in Korat. Is this true and is the quality ok?

I am wanting to buy a bike for generally blasting about on occasionally, would not be used much.

The Hypermotard fits the bill.

I ride an MT-09 daily but that is in Singapore and I won't be considering importing it back home to Thailand for the obvious reasons (it will be greatly missed, eventually).

Also considering an MT-10 but I think the 939 would be more fun for what I want to use the bike for. There is also a Yamaha dealer in Korat called Sip (10) Sima and I have bought an R3 2 years ago as well as a ..... quiet voice time.... Fino from them, without any great hassle.

Any relevant comments greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

I think you know most answers. Inspect the service area and decide for your self wether or not they are professional. If I were you I would also visit the place a couple of times (just hang out and have a coffee) and try to meet other customers to ask about their after sales experience.I am on my 3rd Ducati (in Thailand). I only dare to buy from the main dealer in BKK.

Thanks.

To correct myself, the front fork is unadjustable.

I normally have only limited time back home, most of my time is spent working outside of Thailand.
