RAYONG: -- A 15-year-old boy was killed when he was hit by lightning as he was collecting bamboo shoots in a forest in Rayong on Tuesday night.

"You were obviously a good kid"       How did you come to that conclusion?

He's a very unlucky kid, sure!  I feel very sorry for the parents.

because he was ' out collecting bamboo shoots '  and not sitting in an internet shop somewhere wasting his time,  so he must at least be a half decent kid ....   so good & half decent is ok.

It is too bad when people go out during these storms and get killed, Just not worth it

RIP young man.

you need a reality check, you state you feel sorry for the parents, yes if they had any common sense in the first place, then maybe they shouldnt have sent him out collecting FOOD for them.

Thanks for clarifying what I 'need'. Soon as I have time I'll pop out and check on my reality.

Still- I feel very sorry for any parent who loses a child in such an unlucky way. 'Hit by lightning' ooh boy, that's about as unfortunate as someone getting.... hit by lightning!

That's a very unconvincing point- being in an internet shop is not ipso facto 'wasting his time'.

But yes, it appears he was out doing something to help the family so good on him. But not his lucky day!
