KK Airport Parking

Featured Replies

Hi

I'm wanting to leave my new car in KK airport for a few days.

First, is it safe?

Is it free, I know it used to be?

If not free, how much is it, maybe I'd be better getting a bus/taxi/friend to take me?

Cheers

There is a thread from 2016 about the parking deck at KK airport.

It's not free anymore and that was unavoidable as it was jam packed all day.

I haven't checked recently but I assume it's still 180 Baht for a full day.

I remember other posts about parking on private ground near the airport for a fee.

But forgot the details.

Maybe someone comes to the thread with this.

Commenting on security?

Well the whole airport area is locked down through the night.

So at least theft is quite unlikely.

I would take the usual precautions: nothing valuable (and/or visible) in the car.

Remove dash cam if any.

You should if you live in/near the city!

For me the airport is almost 100 km drive.

Not free any more -   The first 15 minutes are free.  Then per hour it's 15 baht, which would include the 15 minutes.  Max is then 180 baht per day.  There are two secure parking lots on the airport road.

They charged Bt 100 per day last time I used one.
