No other reason for not re-inacting a rape and murder?

Re-enactment for what purpose?

To show the public that after 3 previous crimes and a further rape/murder they eventually caught their man!

If the police did their job years ago maybe this poor young girl would be walking around enjoying her life!

Ensure his safety, personally I feel they should return him to the scene after publicly announcing to all wronged parties the time and date of the visit, making sure of course people aren't rushed into getting there for the event. 

Why would the mother want an apology from him? 
What's that about for goodness sakes. 

It's amazing thailand! Where else in the world would care about"an apology". Seems to be as important as Justice being served
