Wrong place/wrong time....Possibly the Polo club....

Or a church....

Other than that, "good" men are not drawn there.....It's possible some "good" Thai men might be around there working away from the seedy areas....There's some corporations about that pay a decent enough wage to draw them.....

This must be a wind-up, if not and the op looks anything like her pic I will wind her up, just tell me where the key is. I used to be very good with clocks too....

You will find "good men" on the golf courses.

Of course, they are NOT looking for women. They spend the majority of their time looking for their balls.

Anyone with any sort of real knowledge of Pattaya knows that there's only (fools and) horses at the Polo club. There's no churches either; God has abandoned all those who enter therein. Since the whole special administrative region of Pattaya is completely seedy from edge to edge, and 99% hookers n' pimps, there's simply no "good" local chaps to be found either. All those of the 'ball-bearing' persuasion are to be avoided. The paltry few foreigners that chose to work locally are underachieving, socially challenged, big-fish-in-small-pond types who are  "living their dream" on their minimum-wage, locally-paid salary. Then there's the TEFL'ers who aren't likely to even spring for dinner and will probably cadge the OP for 'taxi money' after a date.

New to the site, Thats umm what about you ? do you live in town?

He lives in an ivory tower in a gated comunity in the north of the enchanted kingdom and can be seen frequently tilting at the local windmills when he's not living his life vicariously by trawling the Pattaya forum pages.

A good man for what?  And what is "good" in your mind?

I know many good men here most don't hang out at Insomnia every night until 3 am.

A lot harder to find a good women then a good man.

I'm usually to be found in my condo.

Not only. You must be doing some "footwork". Otherwise you would not be able to deliver "Hands-On" comments as far as the Pattaya "R/E Circus " is concerned. Issuing some warnings, that usually are taken to heart when it's already too late.

But keep up the good work. Inside or outside the condo.

Cheers.

If we live with a gal here, and it turns out that we are not a good match - she can't take half our assets and future earnings. That happened to a friend of mine. She found someone else, and used the Canadian Common Law statutes to put him in the poor house.

That is only 12 months seems stupid.

One would be very very wise any place in the world to get a pre-nup if married.

Unfortunately, most do not because they think their love will ask forever.  And of course, it does not.

I assume the OP is a Farang female. Does she define a good man according to Thai-Pattaya-Female Standards? If yes, she came to the right place. Plenty of Farang males to fill the bill:

- A good man (a good Farang), is a guy spending his money preferably on "ladies", not objecting to the idea that Gold and Diamonds are a girls best friend, willing to buy lady-drinks left and right during his 8 hour shift and generally not knowing the meaning of the word "no".

THAT IS A GOOD MAN (a good Farang).

Well, depending on the OP's perception of "a good man", she may have ended up in the best of all places or the worst of all places.
Cheers.

Some countries do not recognize prenups.

Thailand does.  If a place did not I certainly would not get married there.

Is there a Canadian term for due diligence?

LOL.

There are no guys in Patts looking for western females. Even the 21 year old Russian girls look lonely and depressed.
