What rubbish. He lost his life because he decided to jump in a canal to chase a suspect.

What a waste.

Annual mandatory fitness tests, along with learning to swim, should be implemented.

I can't imagine how shocked I would be to see a police officer jump in water and immediately start sinking, only for his two colleagues to fail to rescue him, presumably because they cannot swim either. But then one has to remember that just because they wear a Police uniform, doesn't mean are are anything like the Police of other nations.

Maybe the water was so toxic , he just melted . Could of just pulled his side arm . RIP copper , just doing his job , caught up in the moment .

Drugs are illegal.  Drug pushers, sellers and traffickers deserve nothing less.

I didn't say death for smoker  ...

drugs are a scourge on everyday society.

IMO he should not be chasing someone for drugs and trying to imprison them. However, I still feel sorry for him.

RIP Mr. Policeman.

Ah right so the users are not now in your "drug people who deserve death"

I guess that would depend on the users type of drug,  definitely for Ice, meth and heroin and other hard drugs, however ...  pot heads are drug users but should stop as it sometimes leads to trying other stronger drugs.

I believe that anyone who starts a war should have to fight in the front lines.

I agree, a true patriot would stand in the front of the enlistee line. But right wingers like trumpalumpa, not only fail to enlist he was actually called to serve in Vietnam, but as a typical coward he cried, "I have a spur on my foot and cannot serve" but had no problems participating in college athletics. Bill Clinton avoided the draft by attending school in Britain. A member of congress in California Dana Roharabacher, ran for office calling for term limits (almost 30 years ago) also when called to serve begged his draft board to pass him as he had a small crack on his hip from a football injury.

It's so easy for a coward to put worker class children in harms way.
