SATTAHIP: -- A man was beaten and captured at a petrol station in Chon Buri’s Sattahib district late Wednesday night after he was discovered allegedly filming a woman in a toilet.

Police were called at 10 minutes after midnight on Thursday about the incident at a petrol station in Tambon Sattahib in Sattahib district.

Pol Captain Songsak Khamkong, deputy inspector of Sattahib police station, said the suspect was identified as Natthwat Yuman, 21, a resident of Tambon Plutaluang in Sattahib.

When police arrived at the petrol station, the man was surrounded by a group of people and had a badly bruised face.

He admitted that he had hid inside a room in the women’s toilet to shoot video of women during their private moments, said Songsak. His latest victim had seen his phone and shouted for help.

He told police that he had been selling the clips to an agent in Bangkok for Bt5,000 each.

The suspect was taken to Sattahib police station to face charges of committing an indecent act.
