Fleeing teen just wanted to go home to mum

Sanook reported on a police operation in downtown Trat in eastern Thailand after a teen escaped from a juvenile detention center.

 

The 17 year old was in detention for theft but managed to escape.

 

A police search party was mustered and went to the port area where they suspected he may have gone.

 

The teen was found - and pictured by Sanook - hiding under a car. He was taken back to detention telling Trat cops that he just wanted to go home and see his mother.
