The rear lights look awesome, nice and modern.

Reminds me of one of my favourite rides....

To understand me correctly, I'm not buying this car to "brag". I'm just looking for a better option to the car we have today (a small Toyota) as my wife is a government official and have to go to many seminars cross country.

Safety first;)

"my wife is a government official and have to go to many seminars cross country."  That says to me that you (or she) will be driving at night sometimes.  I was SERIOUS when I sad it's not easy to drive at night without high beams on many of the dark roads around Thailand.  My 2013 Pajero Sport did NOT have high beam head lights.  Be sure you're buying one that does.

We have our Pajero for 2 weeks or so now and very impressed - however the sales lady assured me that apple play can be installed, it seems it cannot and for some reason i cant stream music (via bluetooth) to the music system. Normal telephone works fine however

I'm happy you are pleased with the car, makes me more convinced to purchase one.

Is it the 4x4 with all the safety features (I have in mind the anti collision)?

To bad with Apple Play:( I'll keep that in mind.

You're making a good point. Some features one take for granted, like hot air. I miss that in our Toyota.

My my good friend bought new Chevrolet last year, and forgot to check if there was a heater installed:). As most of us know, it is cold in January up in north.

Is he regretting this?:)

I certainly will check your advice as we do drive nighttime. I can not imagine driving without high beams. I even was considering to install extra lights. Nowadays they are not huge and ugly.

Cheers

The anti collision certainly works, as do the mutliple cameras. We took the top model and have nothing bad to say so far (Apple play aside)

You should've read the owners' manual.

Left stalk - pull it back to turn full beams on and off.

Seemed pretty obvious to me, never heard of a new vehicle that didn't have a high beam.

I believe the high beam was introduced around 1924.

Yeah, ha ha, I'll learn to read Thai next year. Maybe you should check it out, too. And that's why I never even thought to try it out.

So because you couldn't work out how to activate the high beam (pretty much the same on all cars), you assumed it didn't have one? Good thing you managed to turn the lights on.

I must admit to struggling to put my car on sidelights only when requested at a stop-check. They've been set on automatic since day 1 and I've never had to think about them before! ?

You guys are all quite funny. I'm glad I've given a chance to spout your wisdom. It didn't have a switch on the floor either. Maybe you can fart off about that, too. Or were you even alive when the high beam used to be engage from a floor button. And FYI, I'm not even retirement age, yet.

Bottom line: Check it out and to the rest of you... Piss off.
