Super Loud Engines past 2 days

Featured Replies

Hi! I'm hoping someone can shed some light, or has any one else noticed these SUPER LOUD car engine noises for the past couple of days?? Like racing or some kind of motorsports. I've tried googling but to no avail. It seems that the 700 yr stadium is too far away from me (Nimman) to be able to hear it anyway.

This endless loud revving of engines all throughout the day is driving me nuts. Does anyone know what it is, or more importantly, when does it end??

There is something going on involving loud engines at Prasatland, the empty area in front of Tawandaeng.  I don't know if there are motorbikes, go-carts, or some other small engine noise makers, but they are very loud.

Prasatland (not sure of the spelling) has very loud events several times a year.  People who buy or lease nearby often don't learn this until it is too late.

Unfortunately, TiT. http://www.thaizer.com/culture-shock/this-is-thailand/

Noise is a factor in LOS and nothing is going to change that, in my lifetime anyway. Which is one reason I am such an ardent supporter of renting and not buying.

Even if one found out what the noise is caused by, little to zero chance of having it stopped.

Ask any Thai that lives next to a recent startup rock crushing plant.

Solution, move or install double glazing.

Thanks for the responses, I wasn't getting reply notifications for some reason.  Thankfully it only lasted about 4 days :) and I'm glad I am renting too.

Haha that T.i.T article is pretty spot on. Even still, the novelty of living here has not worn off yet (3 months).

Hope you were able to shield yourselves from the noise! :)
