  1. Did y'all not notice the red banner at top of page. Also can't copy & paste (images) at this time. Although it will accept links to.
  2. When you have a few billion, a million is pocket money. I think it's more, 'sorry for being an Ahole in the past' than expecting something in the future. They realize they picked the wrong side in the past, and making amends, beside a tax write off
  3. Use it or Lose it ... read, reply, troll AN STAY SHARP
  4. I can't emphasis this enough, the NEO is overpriced POS. Get the MINI for about the same price, and you'll actually be able to operate it. I've seen a few, MINIs online, FB marketplace, about half price. You do not need a license to operate a drone in Thailand. You have to register it, IF, it has a camera, or, over 2kgs.
  5. There is nothing wrong with plastic. It's how it's used (food industry), and how it's disposed of, landfill or sea. Any plastic not recycled, should be burned for energy. Problem solved. Taxes ... I would have no problem pay more, though prefer a flat tax (income), but the problem is, the govt (USA) wastes most taxes, mismanage their budget, and corruption rules. So NO, I don't want to give them any tax money, and main reason I left the USA. I literally live here / TH, on what my monthly tax burden would be in the USA, approximately say $476 / ฿16.3k, (as calculated for 2024), from actual cost. Pretty sure just my real estate taxes would be that amount. If having one of the last houses I owned there. Time for a 'System Change'. and should be how they spend our taxes collected. That's the problem, not that they don't already have enough.
  6. Just check, 4 old PP, 2 stamped, 2 not stamped.
  7. Their wealth rose. That doesn't mean their income rose, especially if tied to stocks. Some assets aren't taxed until sold, as it should be, as they have no value, until sold. When you have money and assets, they grow very fast once established. The tax cose (USA) is already bias to higher earners. A fair tax is a flat tax ... everyone pays the same. Nobody should be penalized for working longer, harder or smarter. I earn, I keep. You want more, earn more. Because you won't earn more, I have to give you mine, because I have more ... in what world is that fair.
  8. Most plastics are NOT biodegradable. So basically you will taxing most all plastic. More taxes never solve anything, as they simply waste more, if they have more.
  9. Yes. You hit your 1B, stop producing, selling, buying, paying employees, taxes (except on interest earned), so now money is only benefiting you. Add to that, no need or motivation, to even stay in home country, so now that's not even going back into the economy. What if Musk stopped all, once he hit 1B. Close Tesla, Space X may have never been, etc etc etc. Same with Bezos, Gates, and whoever else. Oil tycoons, OK, got our 1B, stop pumping oil. I was fed up with paying taxes, so when I had enough, I stopped producing, investing, paying taxes, as had enough, and didn't want to continue risking my money, and having govt take 40%. And, I left, so nothing is returned to the USA economy. I'm no longer paying taxes, RE, school, road, all those taxes that help less fortunate. Only one person, but times that by 1-10-100 thousand people, half million, 10 million, and that all starts to add up. Especially if we we're providing jobs, income, to be reinvested into the economy. Now, I'm a blight on the USA taxpayer. Less so since I live here / TH, but I'm a negative on their balance sheet. If not for the taxes, I probably would still be in USA, producing, generating income, to the benefit of govt and others. Once you go down that road, limiting to 1B, what next, 1/2 B, till you get down to 1M. Now you're losing you tax base, and as they say ... "Sooner or later, you run out of other people's money"
  10. Or use a local vendor on LAZ or Shopee. Where I bought mine Or I'll give you some if you live near me. Just stuck 100gr in the freezer, yesterday.
  11. OP did state ... 'wasn't tech minded', and an understatement 😎 210 baht a month to have a phone for emergencies, and small price to pay if needing. I'm not a phone person, more GPS & camera use, but it does come in handy quite often.
  12. To the topic ... NO, and now I'm thinking about it. THANKS Honey, twist one up for me ...
  13. No AIS ... ... restricted to public wifi, not the safest ... especially doing banking ... no hotspot at home ... now what ? Thought that was obvious with the 'bold' items highlighted ... guess not. Piece of mind & convenience for all of <210 baht a month ... seriously
  14. That's the front, which has no view, and a bit too much traffic. Besides i need the privacy, since not a big fan of wearing clothes. Back yard sloped down a wee bit, and a view, sort of, other side of the seasonal stream. Plenty of areas to sit, all without annoying in-laws or unwanted neighbors popping in at a whim 😎 No dog when living there ... Actually the wall was a plus, when sitting on front porch ... ... and people love leaving doors open, and would hate to have our peacock get run over 🙄 or in the AC, looking out ..
  15. You could actually tell them not to. If they don't get the message, lock the door, then I guess they will have to knock. First wife's family & friends did that, till I told them not to, and the addition of a 3 meter front wall w/locked door enforced that rule.
  16. You lose the 2 obvious ones ... "I AM aware of the use of hotspots in bars/cafes etc. but prefer not to rely on them. I also use my phone as a hotspot at home which enables me to operate my laptop for banking/browsing etc." ... along with use public WIFI for you banking. You phone has WIFI, so why would you need a WIFI device ... or am I missing something. 2500 baht for a year of piece of mind (banking), and ease of use, seems like a bargain.
  17. By nice if there was some accurate reporting of news, at least once in a while. Same photo as in OP, states they were being released (dated 6 Dec), and processed at Myanmar Imm, soon to arrive at Ranong. ... "They were handed over yesterday in Kawthaung, Myanmar, and are expected to return to Thailand’s Ranong province today." ...
  18. First floor of a friend's house is flooded out. Minor compared to what others are experiencing. Another friend not having a problem this year, but last year the stream breached the road, and water was lapping at her front steps
  19. Same here, and went back to 2023, to remind myself which ones I did see already
  20. Because diplomacy works. Your thinking is why the world is in the state that it is
  21. Had 1 phase installed, so really can't help much, but would recommend, if looking to sell back to PEA/MEA, in the future, then make sure you use one of 'their approved' inverters. The 3 phase Deye 10 & 12kW hybrid, I think, is on their list, so maybe consider. One of the updated lists of approved inverters
  22. Her & hubby have a few million, just retire or take one of those honorary professorships at some leftist Uni and destroy a few more young minds with her far left silliness Nobody is going to beat a Vance / Gabbard ticket in 2028, or a Gabbard / ??? ticket in 2032.
  23. @ 37, not so sure about 'growing out of that', but a bit more responsible with any intake of stimulates, IF, that was even a contributory cause of death. Some folks just die young.
  24. If having an 'issue', then never hurts to get your testosterone tested, to eliminate that as a cause. Before supplementing, as not recommended if unneeded (see below) or taking them blue pills, as may have nothing to do with blood supply. Two years ago, while get blood work done, it was a very inexpensive add on, so why not. Thought it funny that he offered, toying with my ego. Still got the levels of a youngin', and wife had to add, 'why you waste money, I could have told you that' ... got to love her for that one 😎 Too much may be causing the problem you think you are solving by supplementing ...
