  1. I have, and used jackhammers. Nothing difficult, especially when you have years to do it. Just add the dirt to the garden, or dispose of elsewhere. All too easy. Doesn't have to be a deep hole, as going to cover with concrete anyway. Actually doesn't have to be a hole at all. Could just stack 'em, and encase them in concrete, and have yourself a concrete workbench in the basement
  2. No need to even leave the house, as she could have buried them under the house. All it takes is an electric jack hammer and a shovel
  3. That news-blip has little to no info. Size or type of info would be interesting. Hard to believe they could track them back to origin. More like a 'lets up the defense budget' spin op-ed Pushing the 'fear factor' ... more money please
  4. Get your ELO freak on ...
  5. Only true organic foods I trust, are from our garden & greenhouse. Try to buy & eat whole foods, any thing else, from raw materials prepared at home. Or store bought with a label, of less than 4 +/- ingredients. Ingredients represented by #s, or something generic (natural flavorings), or can't even pronounce ... yea, big pass
  6. 4 years and she couldn't figure out a way to get rid of the bodies Some people suck at being criminals
  7. ... " And how does this thai wife thing even work? I just go to Bangkok or Pattaya and start asking hookers to marry me? " Somedays you wonder why you bother with AN, then you get a nice nice chuckle with your morning coffee Now over to the non Yanks giving USA politics & voting advice. Afterwards to the ICEV owners telling the EV owner about their poor decisions. You'll never get ROI on EVs or Solar
  8. This why you don't get advice from friends, but strangers on a forum are so much better As @Will B Good pointed out, all great reasons to rent. 1. You aren't buying anything. (unless it's a condo) 2. If relationship fails, you have no rights to sell. It's his / hers, not yours 3. Only an idiot buys a house on leased land, as only an idiot would buy it from you. Most idiots don't have money to buy stuff. Your options, rent, or buy a condo. You're not even married. How old are you , and do you plan on living 30 more years. Have kids, as who are you passing it on to? Your post screams of a relationship, that you're not sure will last, and statistical wise, it probably won't. Tell her you decided to buy a condo, in your name only, as see how she reacts. That might be very telling.
  9. For those wanting a solution, if I had outage problems, I'd definitely get a solar generator. Here's a site that will give you a clue, how long things, like a fridge would run, with just a 1+kwh battery solar generator. I reckon this is the important one. Although, if full, our freezers would definitely last at least 8 hrs, as basically an ice box, filled with frozen food. IF thawed, simply cook it on gas hob. Don't think there is any house in TH, that is all electric.
  10. It makes no sense to buy a new vehicle, if knowing you be gone in 2-3 years, unless you just simply want one. Just decide what your budge is, and what's available in that budget. Could be a comfy used ICEV, or even a new BEV, PHIEV, for the same price, or a used EV for half the new price, but sill like new. If 2nd hand, I'd buy from a city, district, province that isn't prone to flooding.
  11. 'Mostly', used to be drone parts or whole drones. Easily 100+ orders. Now it's everything and anything we need, for everyday living, toys and or hobbies. From food, to everything needed to produce your own food, to cooking & preparing it. Phones, electronic, kitchen appliances, water heater, . Cameras and equipment, all things for sewing, making clothes, from needles to material. List really is endless. Everything to make an ebike, vitamins, pharmacy. Easier to ask what the few things we buy from brick & mortar shops ... Even Ganga ... got more here than I can smoke, since I stocked up and don't indulge much
  12. This case is just about over, and just waiting on decision to issue Trump a win. Appeals court judges easily saw through the BS. ... NEXT
  13. Agree, nice job, looking good 👍 Took notice of a free standing SS sink, the other day, out back of the house for 2+ years, exposed to the elements, and was surprised, it looks good, no rust. Actually 5+ yrs old, as had it for 3 ish years at a rental.
  14. Here's another vid on ham making, rather large piece, and can adjust the curing salts accordingly per kg, for smaller hams. Didn't use, because 1 process calls for a smoker, don't have. The other sous vid, also don't have, but same as I did, just simmering water till it comes up to temp. Also my vacuum sealer crapped out, but not really necessary. Don't like the idea of 'cooking' food in plastic. Good way to go though, simple enough, without cutting and packing in SS press I bought. I also want to use the press to make other 'meats' and not just ham. Note, also, he states, 'don't' use iodine'd salt. He also added some flavoring spices. I also added some (cayenne & black peeper) which didn't come through at all. Advantage of loin, instead of pressed, it will hold shape when cutting. When I cut thin slices off mine, a chunk did fall off. Maybe use another gram of binder (milk powder) next time, with longer cure in frig, 2 days vs 30 hrs. 1 kg is good size for use, as want to use in 1 week. Though in the future, will probably put half in the freezer. I'll be going ham crazy this week, as having really eating any in long time. Ham pizza, ham steak w/eggs, and a H&C croissant with my scrambled eggs yesterday If you want to get fancy, 'dry air', then this is a good vid. I was trying to get that flavor, hence the added cayenne pepper, which wasn't even close to the ratio amount he used. Simply impossible to make an Italian Hoagie without Capicola. He does have, is links to curing & drying time 👍
  15. Conspiring ? ... Seems like the right thing to do when people post 'personal info' of other people. "The incident originated when Klippenstein, an independent journalist, shared a 271-page document on his Substack in September. The document, reportedly a vetting file on JD Vance, contained sensitive information including Vance's social security number. X, owned by billionaire Elon Musk, responded by blocking links to the document, citing the presence of personal data. Klippenstein was subsequently banned from the platform."
  16. The Substance, need to give this one a big pass (7.8 IMDB) Demi Moore & Dennis Quaid ... hope they got a big payday
  17. They just had a big sale w/Amazon, and the YT'er Prof. Hobo, had a discount code for 20% more off. Not sure if it's still going though. Might be USA only and involve silly shipping cost. Might find online vendor in TH, with them. Ecoflow Flagship store @ LAZ
  18. Not a status symbol, or 'look at me, I'm rich', just practical money management & enjoying like. Wife & friend @ RTAF Wing 5, coming back from surfside vendors. The Fomm One, local-sh neighbor having since they were released. Always spotlessly clean. Few more neighbors have Atto 3s, a MG ZS, MG4, and a couple Haval H6s. Couple also supplementing their PEA with solar 👍 Quite surprising, since all within 500 meters of the house (except Wing 5), and all of 50-75 households, as live kind of rural. One guy surfside has a Tesla.
  19. curing salt ... "Curing salts are generally a mixture of sodium chloride (table salt) and sodium nitrite" - wiki If not wanting to use, this may help., though didn't search recipes for alternative curing, without curing salt. 3 gr is a minute amount. I used this, from online (?).
  20. Fine line between offensive & honesty ... Snowflakes are great for comic relief 😎
  21. Used this method / recipe as a guide, as didn't have a couple things he used. Though not needed. Left in frig for 30 hrs, since not using accelerator. Used table salt (?) (iodine'd), and milk powder as a binder. Used pork tenderloin, trimmed all fat & silverskin off, with these added ... Only took 1 hr to 'cook' in pot of water, so much faster than his estimate (15-2hr). Once water was simmering, and straight out of frig, so 40F, internal temp. Up to about 170F when taken off the stove. Had to add a bit of water half way through, as steaming off. Bought meat press on LAZ
  22. Don't think he went to Nam during the war, as apparently, he was still in his 40's, when passed away, Maybe 50 yrs old, if birthday after 14 Sept.
  23. My 1st pressed ham ... awesome, if I say so myself. Why have I never done this before. Better, no chemicals, and <āļŋ200 a kilo instead of silly priced deli ham from 'everywhere'
  24. Need Solar or BEV or both 😎 OR ...
