Two students allege being hit by school director

 

Damrongtham Center Chief, Sompong Rattana, says that he will coordinate with the Primary Educational Service Office of Krabi area, which will investigate and decide about the incident.

Baan Bomuang School Director, Opat Kongpakdee, is to be investigated and possibly sacked from the school after harming 2 students.

 

Anusorn Samart and Rittidech Mas-Osot, two students from grade 5, were accompanied by their parents and village chief, Sittichai Bomuang, to Krabi Damrongtham Center to complain about the case.

 

The students were found with bruises on their heads which they say comes from the director who slapped them.

What's the fuzz about? This is the traditional way to direct a school: slap 'em over the head, kick 'em in the stomach, boil 'em in hot water, shock 'em with a cattle prod - and then go on an "overseas field trip using the school budget" to recover.

The most shocking thing about this is that they named the school.

You forgot throwing a mug at girls.

So, he might be sacked. How about the police charging with assault, or is hitting kids on the head not against the law yet in Thailand? I guess not, because we read stories such as this every week and I've never once read of the perpetrator being arrested.

The stompings, the shoes on the head ...
