A chocolate factory in Samut Sakhon province was ordered closed yesterday after a raid by a combined force of government authorities found it produced liquor chocolates without official licence.

The raid by the combined force comprising police, soldiers, excise and health officials followed complaints by parents that the factory in Tambon Kwae-orm in Amphawa district produced and sold liquor chocolates to their children and youths.

They told authorities that the liquor chocolate has become a favourite candy now among youths and they feared it might be harmful to health.

Ah, I love that stuff.  Why did they have to go and sell it to kids ?  Some people just have no sense at all.

Next they will be arresting people for selling sherry trifle or steak and ale pie.  Pathetic.  Never know anyone to get drunk from liqueur chocolates...

I'll have to be careful with my homemade Cumberland Rum butter for Christmas this year. The kids might eat it.:saai:

You should see the packaging all the marijuana edibles. Fruit rolls, all kinds of cookies.  Cakes and chocolates. I'm refering to the U.S. So a bit off topic. Can't help but wonder how many little ones have dosed themselves.

And I will have to not put any Brandy in the mince pies or Christmas cake incase children get intoxicated.

Wish these were on sale at the Soi Buakhoa Friday/Tuesday market. Heck, wish they were at one on my local 7-11s, any one of the six.
