Police arrest 11 Africans in Bangkok for overstaying visas

Some 11 Africans were arrested on Saturday morning for overstaying their visa, as Special Operation and Patrol Police Division officers joined forces with tourist police and immigration police to search five Bangkok locations.

 

Operation Black Eagle drew on officers from three forces to check locations with a history of housing illegal immigrants, said Division Chief Pol Maj-General Surachet Hakpal. 

 

He said the operation netted 11 suspects from African nations. He did not give specific details of the suspects’ nationalities. 

 

Surachet said the operation was carried out after the prime minister ordered police to crack down on illegal immigrants suspected to be in Thailand to carry out various scams, including romance scams and ATM skimming. The suspects will be deported and face 10-year entry bans, Surachet said.

My friend lives in an apartment block in Phnom Penh. He is the only white tenant. The police raided the place last week. All the Africans did a runner. No passports and no visas.

How sad for them, they choosed the wrong country. In Sweden you get deported to Africa in a private jet with 5 caretakers from government who will stay a few days at a luxuary hotel. And you also get about $10000 if you agree to go. After 2 weeks another jet is leaving with a single afican and caretakers on board ... And it is true!

The new feminist/socialist corrupt country is Sweden, Thailand is sane in this business.

problem with those africans on sukhumvit is that they never seem to go somewhere just only hanging outside on one spot. Sometimes yeah they try make an annoying conversation with me but never i talk  back.but now i got 2 words for the bunch Adios Amigos!

I agree with Mickmouse1 Operation White Eagle will fetch far more catchy numbers a few to several thousands in fact.. despite all the nonsense any foreigner who doesn't comply with the laws of the land should be punished and dealt with equally putting aside their color and religion and sex... entire Europe will be gone soon because of its politically correct brainless bunch of idiots in key positions.. they welcome hordes of fanatics who openly threaten them and live off of their resources but still speak about plain humanity and remain mute spectators..

Don't overlook the fact that Africa has a very high rate of HIV/AIDS and these African Ladies just might give it to you (or your buddy).....

Yes, you have illustrated the severe difficulty that European countries have in enforcing the removal of such people. They have to put them on private aircraft because it's quite easy to cause disruption on commercial flights. There was a recent report about an Afghani deportee who was offloaded from a Turkish Airlines flight because the captain heard him howling before take-off, so took the aircraft back to the terminal.

Of course, these Africans will not protest about being removed because they know that the alternative is an indefinite stay in a very unpleasant prison, which can not happen to you if you're in Europe, where  human rights lawyers would be lining up to take your case and get you released.

I had one regarding a mere major who died owning a golf course and a hotel, I would get 10% if I let them use my bank account in Germany to get the money out.
