Ubon Ratchathani Eye Exam

Featured Replies

MY eyes are getting bad and I'm in need of glasses better than what I find on the racks at Big C and Tesco Lotus.

Where is the best place to have your eyes examined in Ubon as well as buying glasses.

I recommend Chaaw Ween. Main surgery is in the old part of Ubon city, a few metres along from Srikamong hotel

I would recommend Dr. Sima as he is one of the top man in ubon and not old and fluent in English as well and they do operations as well.

He is in his office every day as i stop working in Government hospital last year.

He also have what ever eye glass you need or if not have in the shelf's they will make it.

He is really good dude as i been there few times and you can ask anything in your mind what you want to know.

Doc Sima contact details

I will 2nd that. I had a cataract removed and a lens put in him last year. Very professional and top notch service.

I would not entirely agree with Dr Sima being the best optician in Ubon. He is an eye surgeon who specialises in cataract treatment and lens implants. I had both eyes done 4 years ago. Excellent treatment.  Probably the best in southerrn Isaan.

But with getting ordinary glasses, that service is done by a young fellow in his surgery and not Dr Sima. Also the selection of frames is not  very extensive.  I would not myself go to Dr Sima for ordinary glasses. Dr Sima may very well look at your eyes and do the testing but the final eye tests and fitting of the glasses is not done by Dr Sima.
