I figured this would go better here, than in the electrical forum. Has anyone done this chore, yet? There's not too much on youtube (or anywhere else according to duckduckgo) for it, but what little there is, they're saying to totally disassemble the fan (and if one can not get to the bearings to oil them when hanging there in place, then I guess there's no other way). I was hoping someone had a handy, time saving way around this. I'd rather not have to replace them down the road if I can keep them maintained now. My house has 4, so it's going to be fun. Thanks in advance....pg

Many fans have sealed bearings no maintenance needed.

Some have a small hole on the motor which takes a few drops of regular lubricating oil.

Google is yr friend.

Google is NOT my friend....duckduckgo on the other hand....they don't track you and give all to the highest bidder/authoritative a$$wipes. But thanks anyway...pg
