hi as per headline, i did read a post as there is a lot of hassle about buying out of province, can anyone enlighten me as what  problems might arise  and what is the cost nowadays for vehicle transfer, like some ads i have seen, * new owner to pay costs of transfer , and transfer costs split 50/50* that sounds a bit worrying. thanks  KC,  just got charged  280 baht for transferring my BKK account to JOMTIEN , although they have probably been using my big wedge for banking purposes, all i got was * BKK different province*  Duh !!

I also like some info on this too, bike and cars (well, everything I guess !) are more expensive and in short supply in Phuket than, say, in BKK....
