ECOCUT pro increases the service life and quality of your wiper blades

How does ECOCUT pro work?
In order to explain how ECOCUT pro works in detail, we must first of all look at why wiper blades actually start to smear.

To ensure the wiper blades can wipe the windshield without smears, brand new wiper blades have a “sharp” edge; see illustration.

Due to weather conditions, dirt and the remains of insects, the edges of the wiper blades are worn down over time. Under the microscope, a radius and minute amounts of damage are clearly noticeable.

Why bother just buy new W/Blades couple of hundred BT when the old ones are buggered.

'cos this is what the German manufacturer says...

What has ECOCUT pro to do with the environment and resources?
The replacement of wiper blades each year produces tons of special waste. With ECOCUT pro you can extend the service life of your wiper blades and thus make an active contribution towards protecting the environment and resources.

On the same note, why bother reusing polythene? Costs only a couple of satangs, or even free.

With a lot of cars nowadays your stuck with buying blades from the car maker or damn near it. Ecosport model has two different sizes of blade on the windscreen and I think a different size on the tailgate.

I did manage to get a set locally after a lot of searching and the the guy had to try quite a few different sizes/makes to get the screen wipe area the same as the original.

I was quoting what I do. The cost of the cutter/trimmer thing is 15 euros. The cost at my local shop is under 200bt for both front blades.

Rubber Blades only as the top part never needed to be replaced. The last lump had one new set in the over 8 years I had it.

Seems pretty logical to me. N/B never had to change the rear one. I do put washing up soap in the washer help them last longer Maybe.

The washing up liquid is something I always add and it does make them last longer.

I reckon the sun does most of the damage out here. I've seen blades stuck to the glass before.

Yes, the sun does the most damage. Hence it is recommended to have the wipers 'up' when parked in the sun for an extended period of time.
