You are basically asking for a payment plan without being on the hook for a loan, just a contract to buy sometime in the future. Nobody cares if you rent it or not or how the installment payment is made.

 

I can't envision a seller wanting to do that. Either of you could go bankrupt or need to change the terms. That's why banks use credit and collateral when issuing loans.
