You want the OP to claim for a transaction where he was paying a prostitute, you are aware that prostitution is illegal in Thailand.

 

That is the same as saying you could claim against your drug dealer!

as others have said, many have learned this lesson, one way or another.  here are my three suggestions:

 

1.  avoid using a credit card in thailand.  i rarely ever use one (only for online hotel bookings) but i took a friend to a nice steakhouse and decided i'd use a credit card.  about a week later i got an email from my credit card company about possible fraudulent charges.  the first charge was the day after i used it at this restaurant.  they only amounted to a few hundred USD and were taken off my bill but i have never used a credit card since in thailand. 

 

2.  taking a girl for 'long time' at 20:00 is not going to work out nearly 100% of the time.  just go for short time if you want to go back at 20:00.  if you both have fun, then you can pay for a long time (either extend that night or go see her the next night).  at 20:00 the girl hasn't even had 'breakfast' yet (probably woke up at 19:00).

 

3.  never pay in advance.  never.  even if you've 'invested' money in a few lady drinks before you find out you must pay in advance.  the pay in advance is the telltale sign of a pending rip off.  walk away and take the loss.

 

i've learned the hard way also.  you are are not alone.  make these changes and you will be just fine.

Getting them to leave was indeed the biggest issue a few years ago.  Had to get hotel security to sling one out once!!  Short-time didn't exist till recent years.

I haven't barfined a woman in over ten years now. I'm glad I got it out of my system in the 20 years before that when there was no long-time/short-time nonsense, it was just assumed she'd be with you for the whole night. On top of that they were truly friendly and took more interest in playing with something other than their phones. Good memories, but I would not shed a tear if they took a bulldozer to either Cowboy, Nana or both.

Ahh! The good old days when hookers gave value for money. In my long gone drinking days I got very drunk and made the mistake of bar fining a young lass. When we got back to my room I was well beyond performing and made my apologies, she replied that it wasn't a problem, just lay back and she would take care of it, which she did, admirably. My point is, she could just as easily have taken the money and run, but she felt obliged to give me value.

I’d be more worried checking you CC statement- once they have it can use it

Depends on the OP's age, there was a time when I might have managed 3 or 4 times in 10 hours, suggesting she may have been illegal or underage is pure conjecture.

bar fines are nothing more than pimping fees which go to the lowlife bar owner pimp. Many of them are farang scum.

so why don't we all call bar finds pimping fees to show our disgust at this practice. The worst part is that the girl gets nothing.

Don't be ridiculous. The bar gets the bar fine the rest is the girls'. They haven't been sold into slavery. You are in the wrong place to be carrying out some kind of moral crusade.

Yes its not like the good old days when all night was normal.  I think the girls are making far too much money because a lot of mongers havnt got a clue and fall for the bullshit.  There are a lot of good girls but there are far too many who only want to do short short short time so they can get back to the bar and pick up another idiot.  Some dont even want to leave the bar because they make a good living from idiots paying for overpriced ladies drinks.  Some sit there for hours buying drinks for a "very friendly" girl who then suddenly loses her charm when you mention bar fining her.

cancel the transaction by credit card.................

and next rent a girl for a month. She can stay with you 24/7. Between 20 -30.000 Baht, depending on age.

555! So true Richard. Everyone I know married to a Thai says the same about their strops. And once off on one, the sourness and silence is deafening to coin a phrase. Doesn't matter the background, age, education, or anything - all Thai women do it and often for no fathomable reason. I dread a certain time of month because sure as clock work we know what's coming!

 

As for the OP - must be a troll. Anyone who thinks their bar fined evening's entertainment is there because she actually finds them attractive and enjoys kissing, cuddling and emotional sex is off their head, or trolling.
