April 1, 20187 yr Cheap, hard tyres like Bridgestone Duellers will do high mileages, but the grip really deteriorates after a couple of years. If you don't care about grip, they're great.Good tyres, like some of the Michelins and Pirellis will wear quicker but provide much better grip. All tyres harden eventually - I prefer a softer, grippier tyre that provides good grip, even if it needs replacing due to wear after a couple years.Sent from my R2D2 droid using my C3P0 manservant
April 2, 20187 yr Just curious, since your experience with dry rot is the same as mine: does your car often sit around without driving it? I have heard that this can hasten dry rot.Yes, I don't put much mileage on it. Mostly just around town and a couple trips a year to Udon Thani and back to Bangkok. The truck is 16 years old and just turned over 200,000 kms.Sent from my SM-G935F using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
