Where do you go in Bangkok to buy a new battery for a Samsung Galaxy A3?

Featured Replies

Hi

I'm trying to buy a new battery for my Samsung Galaxy A3 phone. I bought the phone in Indonesia over two years ago and all of the places I have gone to looking to buy a new battery have said they don't have one. Other vendors have said you can't get one in Bangkok. I'm going to look for one at Seacon Square today. Does anyone have any suggestions where I could buy one in Bangkok?

Thanks Maca

Assuming that model was sold here you should be able to find a replacement battery, but perhaps not an OEM version? There are plenty of decent knock-offs available here.

At Seacon just head down to the basement level, walk around and ask in a few shops. People tend to be helpful there IME, and should sort you out. If not, maybe try MBK (4th floor) or on-line?

Samsung have a service centre on the lower level of Seacon Square. I got a battery from my Samsung Note there.

I tried Seacon square none of the shops sold an A3 battery so I asked at the Samsung Service center they said you cant get that type of battery in Thailand as the Samsung Galaxy A3 phone isn't sold in Thailand. Tried online as well Lazada and Amazon, no joy yet. I'll keep on trying, the other option is to buy a new phone..

I've finally given up and decided to buy a new smart phone. Does anyone have any advice on which is the best one to get here in Thailand and how much they cost?

Thanks Maca

My phone is getting worse and worse and I'm not sure how long it would take for the new battery to arrive. An easier solution is just to buy a new one. Thanks for sending the link though
