rooster59 Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 Thai man escapes bear attack while foraging in Nan forest Image: Thai Rath A 54 year old man from Nan suffered serious injury after he was attacked by a bear while foraging in a freshwater river basin in the northern Thai province. Uthit Prarom from Ban Nam Pak lost a lot of blood suffering facial injuries and wounds to his left arm and much of his body. He managed to get away and alert villagers who took him to Nan Hospital. The attack happened between the sub-districts of Ban Nam Pak and Tanchum on Friday. Hunting in the area is forbidden. The victim was as yet unable to explain what had happened.
