Are you sure it was the same rat or a similar one?

You have a live rat stuck to a glue board. Then what?

From what I've seen, it gets thrown into the rubbish, still on the board. I don't know if there's a better option?

Eat it perhaps - as many do up here in Issan.

Tried it once: Horrible!

There is, it's called a rat trap. Have used them many times when I had rats in the ceiling. At least it's a swift death when the bar comes down across the rat's neck, usually instantaneous. It's the same as pictured except all steel. Available at any hardware store. I have found out since that several moth balls scattered in the ceiling keeps the rats out as well. As much as I dislike rats the idea of a living creature stuck to a board and thrown into the rubbish alive didn't sit well with me.

She said she eats there all the time - and wondered what would be done about it.

So do the rats I expect.

These items should have transparent covers. Flies are surely also present,.

Hiding the names of places with such lapse hygiene habits does the public no favours.
