Went  with  a friend from mae lao to Chiang Mai to the Anzac ceremony. What a wonderful morning it was to be reminded what our past soldiers went through , and their bravery .When the service was finished there was an Aussie barbie and alot of great people .

House of Praise International Church , the good thing about it it is only 100 metres from the chiang mai grandveiw hotel. The hotel is ok and costs 1300 baht with breakfast . Looking forward to next year as thsi was so good .

Listen to this one. I'm German but this song brings the tears to my eyes every time I'm listening to it. Hundreds of thousands of young men dying; for what ?

This is a great sad song written by Australian Eric Bogle.

When we go to Chiang Mai we stay at the Mercure. Not to far away and can walk. I'll try and attend next year.

The killing, the dying, it was all done in vain,
For Willie McBride, it all happened again,
And again, and again, and again, and again.

There is also a German version of this song:

Es ist an der Zeit (It's about time)
