A newborn baby was found and rescued from a pile of garbage in Pathum Thani's Muang district early Thursday morning.

Pol Maj Sanchai Methiwiwat, an inspector at Muang Pathum Thani police station, said the baby was found at a garbage dump on Soi Jai Ua behind the Thai Mitsuwa Company in Tambon Ban Chang.

The baby’s umbilical cord was still attached and the infant had not been cleaned after birth. Rescuers cleaned the baby and rushed the infant to Pathum Thani Hospital.

Wanida Madmool, 31, who found the baby, said she was riding her motorcycle with her daughter past the pile of garbage when her daughter spotted the baby moving on a piece of cloth.

With the sun already strong, she hurried to move the infant to the shade.

So this is how much life is really with in Thailand , if you don't like your baby just throw it out with the garbage .

For me I'm happy the baby was found alive and hopefully will be ok for the future.

It's important to also think that the mother is found and if the circumstances warrant it gets the help that she might need.

She may be a mixed up kid who really had no idea how to handle the situation, dumped on by a heartless guy or even family.

Don't write anyone off if you don't know all the circumstances.

If ever there was a story of good and evil...

Hope the little one can find its place in this cruel world.

Kudos to the woman and daughter that found the child and did the right thing.
