Problems with Netflix and TOT

I have called Netflix about the problem I have to see Netflix on my Ipad, but works fine on my Iphone using TOT 30 mb line. 

 

They say I have to call TOT and make them figure it out, but they say it is not their side the problem is. Im tired of spending time on this issue, so I ask here if anyone else experienced the same issue. I get code 5009 most of the time, and some others. 

 

However if I share internet from my Iphone D-Tack 1 mb line, it works on my Ipad. 

 

I have no other options in my building than TOT. VPN is not an issue concerning this.

It’s most likely a network connectivity issue. If your provider doesn’t block streaming services then it might be an all too common glitch I experience after updating to 11.3. But with a very easy fix. I turn off and on my WiFi router and all is good again.

Make sure your VPN is off, because it doesn't work on my laptop if vpn is working.

I try again today with my Iphone, and it did not work. I have tried to turn on and off several times, but the strange thing is it worked with my Iphone before.

If you haven’t done it already, try Reset Network Settings and also check if a carrier update is available.

No problems with Netflix using Dtac or 3BBB  (with or without VPN).

Am in Pattaya, on TOT, Netflix runs fine (on PC & Android phone).

My humble opinion - use BBB. I have TOT and BBB and I will soon only have BBB. It feels like the 1980's with TOT. Sllllooooowwwwwww........ Remember dial up modem? Mind you I live n a bit of a backwater - but then BBB works just fine.

Well it is a TOT problem, I can not reset the modem, since it is a tempory hired one for the appartment, and it works ok with D-tack shared from my Iphone. So thanks for the suggestions. I have to deal with it when I get my own cable next time.

Update, netflix work on tot and vpn, but not without vpn. Getting frustrated! Tot want do nothing, and Netflix still  claim tot as the problem!
