I am not a mechanic but I am trying to order parts for a friends car. Since it is not a car sold in thailand i must be sure about english names when i order from europe

 

car is . mb vaneo 1.9 liter gasoline/petrol .  photo front axel / suspension

 

looks like 3 rods. one of them has a torn rubber boot? if that is the correct word. Name of that boot please? and rods

These arent in your first photo , but i think they may be part of the steering wheel horn / indicator canceling system. In the first photo , the split rubber on the drive shaft coupling , is an outer CV joint boot - you can buy universal ones , no need to order from  Mercedes. The upper rod is a track control arm / track rod end.The lower rod is the lower suspension wishbone.

That outer CV (Constant Velocity) joint boot is badly ripped up. The universal joint will have lost all its grease. It will need repacking, but may well fail soon after if it has been allowed to run dry.

And pick up grit....It should be dismantled and inspected, plus think, was it making any noises..
