Air-con bus Rayong-BanChang-Pattaya

Featured Replies

People are telling me that now it's only mini-vans. I don't believe that.

There must be a good air-con bus service company doing that run.

Not a satisfactory/comprehensive answer, but what I can tell you for sure: long distance bus 824 from Loei goes via Pattaya to Rayong.

I once used it and I still see it when I am in the district town.

It doesn't show a stop in Ban Chang.

I'll try to find more but usually quite arduous.

I'm asking for a couple of friends who want to get from Rayong to Pattaya by bus but don't want to use a mini van.

As pictured Pet Prasert leaves Trat around 2.30pm goes to Chanthaburi then Rayong then Pattaya. I think Rayong is about 5.30 pm as it drives around Rayong picking up people. Arrives Pattaya around 7.30 pm. Snacks and water provided by hostess onboard. Minivan is alot quicker.

As expected it's not easy to find useful information.

Indeed at the Rayong Bus Terminal 2 there is whole bunch of minivan routes.

But you also see a few proper coaches (seen a fairly recent video).

And the well know NCA company operates a number of long distance routes to/from Rayong. They even seem to have their own terminal on Sukhumvit rd. with a big bus parking behind the terminal:
