Does anyone know where to buy waterproof raincoat for the rainy season which has just started?

 

Most of the shops including Big C, Tesco that I went to have only those flimsy transparent plastic sheets that cost less than 100 baht.

 

I need something more durable and better looking.

I have several rain coats - I never wear them. You get wetter inside them than you do walking in the rain.

Try Decathlon shop inside Tesco lotus hang dong - they have western size good quality clothing, breathable shower proof "technical" stuff

Just do what the Thais do wear flip flops and put a plastic bag on your head.

Motorcycle supply shops... All of them carry good quality (as well as bad) rain jackets.
