Greetings All

I need to visit a medical practioner in BKK to obtain a health and medical certificate. The certificate I need is supposed to confirm that I am "fit to work" Can anyone on this Board recommend a doctor parctising in BKK, who speaks English provides a fairly superfically examination and issues the certificate taht I'm after.

If you'd rather not post this informatoin here, then please send it to my email address which is //email removed - lopburi3//

Thanks Heaps

Roderick

There's a very congenial doctor on Sukhumvit soi 11 who does them. His English is quite good. His clinic's main focus is on treating STDs, but he's very familiar with the medical certificates and does them for a nominal fee.

Coming in from Sukh., the clinic is on the left side, in a sub soi behind a 7-11 which is at the front of a charmingly quaint rural woodsy styled guesthouse. See: Suk 11 Guesthouse the picture on this page. If you pass the entrance to Ambassador Hotel you've gone too far down 11.

I think most of us who work here with a work permit have had it done. Its a little bit of a joke. You can just walk into any hospital or clinic. They all know what you are talking about. Doctors here speak good English, they have to for their profession. I went to Bumrungrad and the guy barely looked at me. Looked down my throat, checked my pulse, asked me how I feel....DONE.

I've had a few done in my time for WP's and Driving Licenses.

For 30B one time I had a detailed examination..... the last few have been 60B and the guy listens to my chest for 15 secs and asks me if I'm OK.

Any clinic can do, don't waste time in a hospital.

i think that clinic is closed. not sure about that though. that area has undergone a sort of gentrification. massage parlours have been squeezed out and reatuaraunts are going in. any clinic will do though.
