CityNews – Famous Facebook pages like Mham Po Dam and Kod How V.4 which have large followings and often expose news stories or scandals, have today published reports about a LINE account that allegedly provides fake academic certificates for customers.

The LINE account claims to be able to replicate certificates from a range of academic institutions for 7,000 baht per certificate.

i want to be a brain surgeon AND an airline pilot.

how much is that?

Unfortunately, seems like fake certificates have become a huge problem, and a lot of struggling farangs are also surviving on it.

The famous Prayut Chan-o-cha grand EEC Corridor plan needs 30,000 certified Thai workers.

At 7, 000 baht per certificate that equates to 210 million baht in someones pocket. Hands up everyone who agrees that is great value! Doesn't matter a stuff if they can't do the job.

Poor market survey from these suppliers !!!....long stay visas would definately yield higher and significant clientele !!

No joke. Became friends with a young Aussie living in my building working as a teacher years ago.

He graduated summa cum laude in Pyschology from U of Queensland (Khao San Rd Campus).

Funny part is, we were watching sports and having a beer at his place while he marked his spelling tests for his 3rd grade Thai pupils.

I noticed he had kept marking "wonderful" as incorrect in red pencil and correcting it as "wondahfull."

I tried to intervene but he insisted it was spelled that way as he kept repeating each syllable slowly (won-dah-full) in disbelief at my lack of knowledge of the English language. Lovely guy but those poor kids.

I wish I had the list of satisfied certified customers, it would be like hitting the jackpot without taking the devious route playing in any lottery.
