Giant Mushroom found in Doi Tao

CityNews – Doi Tao locals find giant mushroom, known locally as hed jan.

 

Local villagers of Ban Ko Luang, Pong Thung, Doi Tao was astonished when a five year old boy, called Bell, turned up at home with a giant mushroom on his shoulder that he collected from the forest.

Actually it is a very small child and a normal mushroom

Send him back out tomorrow ,he may find a bigger one.

in the picture he seems to have  an accident with his right leg

maybe fighting a Black leopard in the forest,there might be one left.

i saw heaps of them in my younger days some the size of trees/

as not capable of chopping the large ones down 

 we would only use the smaller ones/ for eating or making tea
