Eric Meyer Canada Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 We are trying to do our driveway with interlocking paving bricks. Does anyone know someone or a company that installs them in the Buriram/Sateuk area? My life may depend on it as I think my wife is approaching the point of killing me over this. 555
r136dg Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 I hear ya, my wife seems to think I have one of those (get sh!t done) magic wands. The wand appears to be malfunctioning, along with my back. Sorry, not my neighborhood, but someone will be along.
transam Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 The only problem with blocks is they are laid on sand and so you get weeds growing in the joins..I did my drive with non slip 40cm tiles bedded on cement..They look great and do not stain or crack..Easy clean with a hose pipe..
mogandave Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 The blocks are okay if you spray the weeds a couple times a year
kamalabob2 Posted June 10, 2018 Posted June 10, 2018 Most any local building team can install driveway blocks in Buriram Province. The OP can drive around Satuk and see examples of driveways where the blocks were installed on concrete first. He can walk along the Mun River sidewalk to see blocks installed on sand. Just check out the sidewalk near the floating restaurant in Satuk. Neo House in Korat had sub contractors install driveway blocks at my home in 2008.
mogandave Posted June 10, 2018 Posted June 10, 2018 Giving it some thought, the blocks on sand probably stay cleaner that the blocks set in cement because of the drainage. We have the blocks in the bottom picture at the plant, we have to pressure wash them couple times a year.
