Everyone knows that security anywhere in Thailand is only for show. They guards aren't expected to actually do anything, and don't expect to. There was a report on here a few years ago of a farang business manager who hired a night guard who showed up for work on the first night carrying a blanket and pillow. And probably never understood why he was fired before he even started. And there have been countless tales of condo guards letting ex-girlfriends of tenants into the building in exchange for a small consideration. Then look at the MRT security guards in Bangkok whose idea of security is to shine a torch at a closed bag for half a second.

Very polite. ?

I like the cool farang on the other side.

Just coolly folding his papers.

Oblivious to the guy with  gun robbing the place.

38mm.  Now that is a big gun!  Did he produce it from a a large suitcase or  off the back of a truck?  Probably 38 Special, (.357") which is sort-of close in size, but not  the same as 9mm. (.355").  9mm & 38mm.  Big difference.

That security guard is certainly up for promotion to an inactive post.

The bank will be covered by insurance... why die trying to be a hero?

555 If Thais are so stupid to keep a bank security guard outside the actual building to open doors for criminals, then they deserve everything stolen. I applaud this brazen thief. Amazing!

Security seems very keen in open/close the door only. His job will  be replaced by a robot.

Seems he is like money collector, not like a robber, he made quite bit of money with a tussle.

And the drawers are so wonderfully located to pick on the run. Good to see the how great is the security laps.

first and many to follow, easy job

That security guard was clearly not aware of what had happened in the previous few seconds as he was outside the bank when it happened and all he was doing was opening the door for another customer leaving the bank.
